BoardsCalc is a small independent project, so email reaches a person rather than a ticket queue.
Expect a reply within a few working days. There is no contact form because the site has no server — a form would need one, and adding one would mean collecting data we would rather not hold.
What is most useful to write about
- A calculation that looks wrong — highest priority
- Accuracy is the whole point of this tool. Tell us what you entered, what it produced, and what you expected. Corrections jump the queue ahead of everything else.
- A bug or something that behaves oddly
- Your browser and device help a lot, and a screenshot helps more. Layout problems on unusual screen sizes are genuinely useful to hear about.
- A tool you wish existed
- Requests directly shape what gets built next. If you keep doing a calculation by hand, that is exactly what we want to know.
- Species price data
- If you have current per-board-foot pricing for a region or species you would like referenced, we would like to see it.
- Press, partnerships or licensing
- Happy to talk. Mention what you have in mind and a timeline.
- Privacy questions or data requests
- Same address. See the privacy policy for what is and is not collected — the short version is that your inputs never leave your device.
